1. Processing your personal data

1.1 Purpose of TRACTLUX’s internet site

The internet site, tractlux.com, is intended to provide you with information about the company TRACTLUX, hereinafter TRACTLUX, through its services and projects.

1.2 Purpose of processing data which you provide to us

Processing personal data (email address, first name, last name, message) freely provided by you via email, via the site’s contact form, as well as by post or telephone, has the sole purpose of enabling TRACTLUX to handle and answer your request.
Information collected is not transferred to third parties except if this is necessary to handle your request. If applicable, the data will be transferred by respecting your privacy and with the sole purpose of handling your request.

2.2 Exercising your rights

You can exercise your rights summarised in point 2.1 above via:

  • the contact form on the site provided for this purpose
  • sending an e-mail to  info@tractlux.com
  • a letter addressed to TRACTLUX, 3, Rue Fontebierg – L-3381 Livange, Luxembourg

In order to ensure that your request is legitimate, you must include a copy of a valid proof of identity with your request. This will be kept as proof for 2 years after your request.

The purpose of the processing, the processing itself and the controller in charge of the information which you send to us in order to exercise your rights are identical to those mentioned in points 1.2 and 1.3 on this page.

tractlux.com contains hyperlinks to other sites.

Access to these sites is provided by opening a second browser window to ensure that internet users do not lose the page they are currently viewing on tractlux.com.

With respect to the hyperlinks set up to other sites and in general to any existing resource on the internet, TRACTLUX is not liable and therefore cannot accept liability for:

  • any inconvenience caused by the services of these internet sites,
  • the content accessible via these links or their updates.

Furthermore, TRACTLUX reserves the right to delete any hyperlink which in its view does not follow its charter, or which most people may find insensitive or which is illegal.

4. Cookies

You are informed that during your visits to the site, cookies may be installed automatically on your browser (‘cookies’ are data files in text format saved by internet browsers).

tractlux.com uses the WordPress Content Management System. The Google Analytics services of the American company, Google Inc are integrated into WordPress which states that it uses the data collected anonymously based on the procedure indicated by Google (‘anonymizeIp’).

4.1 Google Analytics performance cookies

Google Analytics performance cookies are used to analyse statistics and help TRACTLUX understand how users browse its internet site.
For example, these cookies are used to estimate how many people visit the site and pick up errors.

TRACTLUX uses the data collected to improve the content, features and performance of its internet site in order to provide a better online experience for its visitors.

To allow you to restrict the use of cookies from Google Analytics via WordPress, we use the free script from the application ‘tarteaucitron.js’ by the software publisher, AIC Agency S.A.S. recommended by CNIL.

To use ‘tarteaucitron.js’ and manage cookies and trackers from Google Analytics, depending on the display, click on the information bar at the bottom of the screen or the ‘Service Management’ tab in the lower right-hand corner of the site, tractlux.com, then choose to authorise any of the cookies.

Alternatively, you can add the plugin ‘GaOptOut’ recommended by Google and lodge an objection to your IP address being collected and saved or tracker and cookie data being sent.

TRACTLUX would like to draw your attention to the fact that WordPress uses Google Analytics on all the pages that it has created. A cookie is created each time the Javascript library is executed and the data are sent to Google Analytics. Refusal to use Google Analytics performance cookies may result in the site or its utilities malfunctioning. As the internet user, you accept solely liability for the consequences of your choices. TRACTLUX cannot under any circumstance be held liable for its malfunction.

In order to be able to use ‘tarteaucitron.js’ TRACTLUX has configured ‘the duration that data related to cookies, user logins and user or advertising logins are saved’ to 13 months. Google states that they will be deleted at the end of this storage period.

4.2 Cookies for your language preference

The cookie ‘pll_language’ directs you to the language version of the site which corresponds to your language. It has a duration of one year.

4.3 Acceptance or refusal of cookies

We recommend that you set up your browser software in order to accept or refuse the presence and the use of cookies in accordance with your browser as described on CNIL’s website.
